The Chicken is Burnt

Im in Denali Park now. All I can say is BREATHTAKING. The two places I have to come back to visit on my own are Denali and McCarthy/ Kennecott. We are camped in a semi-wilderness spot 15miles into the park. There is nothing around my tent but taiga and a few trees. I cant see any other tents from mine. It is soo nice.
My schedule has changed and will no longer be coming back to Victoria at the end of this trip. Instead Im keeping this van and driving to Anchorage to start my trip. Ill have 5 days off in Aug in Anchorage now and will be able to meet up with one of the other guides for a camping trip or some free time. Right now Chicken AK is on fire and we are having to change the routing of our trip to accomadate the closed road into Dawson City from the AK border. Weather is great.... still hoping to post some phoitos soon!
